| I was knee-high to a chipmunk. My grandmother taught me to sew a polyester, zigzag, tie-front jacket for my beanbag snoopy doll on her black and gold Singer sewing machine. I suppose from that moment on, I was hooked; not on sewing necessarily but on craft. You see around the same time my father was showing me the ropes in his metal and wood shop. I guess I just got hooked on the freedom that crafting skills gave me to create exactly what I was looking for, and now what other people are looking for. While my insatiable desire to craft led me to such excellent and unforgettable adventures as the backless bow tie shirt when I was 12... (don't ask), or the perpendicular bunk bed with a desk and swing built in, when I was 8, it also sharpened my skills and developed an instinct: to find a need, and fill it. It's really that simple. I happen to believe there is a world where form, function and comfort intersect. I'm here to listen and then create. That's what custom craft is all about.
